Ingredients
2 cupsheavy whipping cream
2-3tbspsugar
1tspvanilla bean paste or extract
1/2 tsplemon zestoptional
Instructions
Use stand mixer on medium speed to begin whipping heavy cream
As soon as it starts to thicken, add vanilla and sugar (if using lemon zest, add this too)
If you prefer a sweeter cream, add more sugar. It doesn't need to be super sweet because you will usually put this on something sweet like fruit or chocolate!
Turn stand mixer on high and allow cream to whip for a few minutes
When stiff peaks have formed, serve immediately!
Store in the fridge for a day or two if needed. Best consumed fresh!
