Meatballs

Easy and freezer-friendly meatballs made in the oven.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Whisk the 2 eggs and 1/2 cup milk together until homogenous.
  • Add the Parmesan, bread crumbs, garlic, and spices. Whisk until everything is combined.
  • Using your hands incorporate ground beef and onion until everything is evenly distributed. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls and place on baking sheet.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • To further enhance flavor... let cook in your favorite sauce, simmering on low, for 1-2 hours. OR set in the crock pot with your favorite sauce on low for 2 hours.
